HOW IT FITS TOGETHER
Three parts, one connection
A disconnect is not a single item. Identify which side of the connection you are specifying, then match the NEMA configuration across parts.
Plug
Terminates the cord on the equipment side. Solid brass blades, thermoplastic body, terminals marked for fast wiring.
Connector
Terminates the cord on the supply side. Mates with the plug to form an in-line disconnect.
Receptacle
Mounts to a box or panel as a permanent outlet. Available on twist-lock configurations.
Straight blade inserts and holds by friction. Twist-lock has pins arrayed in a circular pattern — the plug is inserted and rotated to lock in place, so vibration or cord pull will not disconnect it.

Built for the panel and the field
Construction
Solid brass blades, nylon body and separated design for serviceability. Accepts SJT #14–#8 AWG cord.
Rotational lock
Insert and turn. The locked pair resists vibration and cord pull — the reason twist-lock is specified overhead.
Field identification
NEMA configuration and device rating are stamped and visible after installation — verification without disassembly.
